This was a very relaxing place to visit. It is small but at least it's not crowded. The price is cheap, $5 for adults and you can visit as long as you like. Plenty of benches to relax on with shaded trees in many areas. The Garden is renovating so some public areas lack the beautiful bloom. But over all... More

I regularly visit the botanical gardens in Amarillo because it is one of the only green places in town. It is well maintained and has a variety of plants in indoor and outdoor gardens.

Interesting outdoor garden with native plants. The best part is the tropical indoor garden. It is a lovely, peaceful place.

These gardens are very well maintained, and explained. Love seeing plants, etc. I've never seen before. Quite the variety!

The flowers are so beautiful. The grounds are well kept, and the banquet room was very nice. It made a beautiful place to have an event.

Amarillo Botanical Garden is an oasis in the sometimes dry, dusty Panhandle. If you haven't visited it in the last several years, you will be impressed. The eye-catching glass pyramid is an indoor conservatory filled with tropical plants, including orchids, bananas and bromeliads. Outside there are arbors, water features, cottage gardents, a grassland exhibit and dozens of unexpected surprises. The... More

I like walking around the lakes that are behind the garden. For Amarillo it is a great 1 to 2 mile walk around the lakes. Anyway while walking I kept noticing the gardens and I decided to try it. I enjoyed the visit and if I were a local resident would volunteer to help keep it up. I would recommend... More

I stopped by the gardens while waiting for my plane and I have not yet had time to see how many photos are excellent, bring you camera with you when you visit. These gardens are small, but the staff has done a wonderful job of establishing a number of landscapes. The star of the garden are the landscapes in my... More

ABG does a beautiful job with the gardens, and I have enjoyed taking a couple of classes there. The instructors were local and very knowledgeable about gardening in the Texas Panhandle climate.

The Amarillo Botanical Gardens is a great place to get away for little bit. I can come here to eat lunch and just walk around and enjoy the sights and smells of the gardens. It's so peaceful.
