I regularly visit the botanical gardens in Amarillo because it is one of the only green places in town. It is well maintained and has a variety of plants in indoor and outdoor gardens.

Interesting outdoor garden with native plants. The best part is the tropical indoor garden. It is a lovely, peaceful place.

ABG does a beautiful job with the gardens, and I have enjoyed taking a couple of classes there. The instructors were local and very knowledgeable about gardening in the Texas Panhandle climate.

The Amarillo Botanical Gardens is a great place to get away for little bit. I can come here to eat lunch and just walk around and enjoy the sights and smells of the gardens. It's so peaceful.
