I attended a concert from Jan Akkerman, Holland's best guitarist and was impressed with the acoustics of the place. The hall itself is like any other good concert hall, but really great acoustics makes up for the quality. Besides, the design of the whole building is unmistakably Oscar Niemeyer. Even without attending a concert, it is worth visiting while strolling... More

It's a great venue and Ibirapuera's management chooses the events carefully. I've seen classic, rock, MPB and even metal there. Worth the visit!

I normally attend free classical music concerts - not so crowded as central park, and there is usually conversations and other distractions going on - nevertheless it brings classical music closer to the people of sao paulo

This recent addition to the Ibirapuera Park has been very welcome. Not only do they host some incredible bands and plays inside, but the back of the auditorium also opens up to a very large grassy area, making it the perfect place for outside events, like the BMW Jazz Festival, which happens annually. The design of the building is also... More

All concerts here are of high music quality! The theater in itself is not beautiful, but it's cozy and has some nice accoustics! But the main thing here is definitely the choice of performers! They respect brazilians origins and try to keep it as good as possible.

Beautiful building! Check their concerts calendar so you can see a show there. The wall at the end of the stage, opens up to the Park; so sometimes they do summer concerts there.

One of the late masterpieces of Oscar Niemeyer. It's an old project that was just built a few years ago, with a unique sculpture by Tomie Othake. It's worth the visit when going to Ibirapuera.

variety and richness, as week after week they have different types of performances. Very accessible and well located. The building is a beauty, and the acoustic is overwhelming on clarity and balance.

Stuning style inside! Beautiful outside, and you can watch shows from the grass field behind the auditorium, and from inside, depends on the show. Oscar Niemeyer Architecture is amazing!
