Central - lovely green area - lots of other joggers. The park up keep is great and the variety of plant life is surprising.
If you can't make it to the famous beaches of Brazil and are stuck in Sao Paolo over the weekend, Ibirapuera Park, is the place to be!!
I stayed in Itaim, so it was only a three kilometer walk to the Park and its in a safe area.

Living in an urban jungle that is Sao Paulo, Ibirapuera was my oasis and a regular weekend escape. The park is a great place for people watching and really is a social space, rather than a conventional park. It is also a home to some great museums, such as Museo De Afro-Brasil and MAM. I recommend to come here to...

I spent 14 days in Sao Paulo and I went jogging there every single day. The park around one mile away from the Jardim's hotels and offer an unlimited array of trails and circuits for runners, bikers, rollerblading and skate boarders. It is also home of a couple of good museums.

Also you can see ducks and other birds in the small lake....

Very popular with the locals. Running, cycling, lazing around, museums, monuments, cafes etc. Ab oasis in the centre of this bustling metropolis
Surprisingly well maintained park in the hear of the city. Close to Jardim and many hotel, it is super recommended for a daylight running. Directions are well indicated by signs placed along the ways in the park. You will find many people doing any kind of exercise, including classes of Yoga etc.
we toook the bus here (a trip in itself...there is speed readout above the driver so you can see how hard he is pushing it, flinging it around corners until passengers are tossed across the bus). the skateboarders were really cool, doing amazing tricks such as getting prone with plastic pucks on their hands. Good people watching, and the food...
