If you like history of combat planes this is great. Fantastic static display planes including SR71, F14, Migs, etc. Lots of fun.
Great little museum.....very good exhibit on Tuskegee Airmen.....true heros.....flight simulators and radio control plane simulators....kids play room....the flight line outside should be more accessable.....the lady working the front desk is utterly unfriendly.....she could care less that you are there giving your money to pay her salary....too bad, or is it she couldn't care less? Lol
I found the museum to be very interesting with the real aircraft on display. From full size models of he Wright brother"s flyer to a Korean era jet there was lots to see. The exhibits were well done especilly the one on the Tuskegee Airmen. Be sure to ask for the senior rate , if you are over 65. Photos... More
We visited this museum with our middle-school age son and high school-age daughter. We knew our son would enjoy it but our daughter also had a blast. What a super museum. Hidden behind the airport but there are plenty of signs to help you get there. Call ahead to check museum hours. The website isn't updated regularly. Fascinating exhibits. Great time. History Channel exhibits.
