We were fortunate enough to catch an evening musicall performance in the outdoor courtyard at the monastery.

Don´t miss if you go to Hvar , to know about the music concerts on the Monastery , it is a lovely experience !

This was a beautiful trip on a boat and the half hour on visit to the Monastery was very good. The guide had to fit everything in to the 30 minutes.

Well preserved conservatory. Look for the tree with the elliptical branches in the garden and the dining room with the amazing painting of the Last Supper. Low entry price.

the Franciscan Monastery is worth a visit for the age of the building, perhaps to poke your head inside the church(make sure you are properly covered up for this!!!) but its real jewel is the 500 year old cypress tree.with its limbs supported with metal supports.
