Lake water is pretty good and you have many boating options. Good place to spend evening time( before 6:00 p.m.).

I visited Kodai during end of April, and, since Kodai was extremely crowded - so much that we decided to just walk around and enjoy the place! The Kodai lake is beautiful! We decided that it's best to just walk around and soak in the beauty of the lake. There are some shopping centers around the lake if folks are... More

We were heading towards the boat house but seeing the untidy condition of the lake decided not to do boating. We hired a few bicycles to take a ride around the lake. Had lot of fun and enjoyed the ride. The bicycle ride was a bit risky as their were vehicles plying around and were honking really loud near you.... More

The lake is an awesome place to hangout by, but the crowd makes you think more than twice. Best options - Go cycling / balloon shooting and stay away from the bazaar area.

Cannot believe that this is a man-made lake...such beautiful surroundings encompassing 6 kms. Go for boating...don't hire a shikara or row boat. Hire a paddle boat for an hour and enjoy leisurely. There are ice cream vendors at the brink of lake. Enjoy boating with an ice cream stick in hand. Don't forget to have your camera batteries charged and... More
