the place is little off-track and no-doubt you wil have difficulty locating it. the place is quite colourful with different types/colour/variety of toilet seats it offers. One shouldn't miss holding the dry ball of human excreta which is hard like a piece of stone. Had good time and great experience. the staff is very cordial and explain you everything with... More

It's a schlep from wherever any tourist is likely to be staying in Delhi, but the Sulabh International Museum of Toilets is worth the trip. Sulabh is that rare attraction that doesn't ask for either entry fees or donations--but leaves you kind of wanting to contribute. There's an amusing museum of toilets through the ages that doesn't skimp on potty... More

Besides offering a fascinating and funny history of the development of modern toilets, this facility and organization that supports it, is a fascinating NGO, intimately linked with India's caste system, specifically, The Untouchables. It is also at the forefront of reusable resource technology, as well as a benchmark for improving public health in rural areas. Go visit. It's amazing!

I went to the Museum of Toilets with my friend in January because this place was recommended by trip adviser and my travel guide book. This place located far from any public transportation(or difficult to travel by bus if you don't live there) and if u want to visit there, you need to find the car. There were a few... More

I went here for the joke/kitch/tacky factors and to be off the tourist train. After finally finding it - driver had a very hard time - it was really interesting. Seems this is a Gandhian effort - I was happily surprized that `i was supporting a social initiative.

This museum is run by the NGO, Sulabh international. It condenses 5000 years of toilets into a single room with plenty of quirky and innovative toilets to look at. There is an incredibly knowledgeable free guide. In the garden outside there are some great exhibits of the toilets they have designed for communities in India,.complete with working examples. A memorably... More

Kudos to the brain behind putting this together in form of a museum. Guess it's one of it's kind in the world. An amazing collection indeed

It is a little out of the way but worth it - free - and the information well put together and told. They put us on a local bus to the nearest metro and ensured we were advised when to get off

A Museum of loos! Seems quite funny and strange. But this place is actually quite interesting and they have loos from all over the world! It also showcases the good work this organisation is doing for toilet sanitation in India. Great job.
