There are lot of things to see but you should spent at least half an hour to explore some thing out of them. Grate place. I really like that place.

Despite having lived in Mumbai for almost 5 months as an expat, I hadn't yet visited Mani Bhavan until recently (with some visitors.) Though the museum could use a bit of a clean-up and reordering, we had a lot of fun and learned loads about Gandhi. Our favourite part, however, was definitely the room upstairs full of figurines displaying different...

We went because our driver took us there & it was certainly interesting - but if you're already familiar with Ghandi's life & work its adds almost nothing new. We found the models of scenes from his life a little amateurish & very repetitive - think your child's doll's posed in multiple scenes from his life - but if you're...

I felt anew the power of this amazing man. I especially loved that he lived there and that they had extensive quotes from his writings extracted.
Even my little daughter (4 yrs old) loved it because of all the models that they have put in there. Good place to visit, if you like your history.
We had trouble getting here because we were calling it the Mahatma Ghandi Museum and we ended up at another museum. You need to tell the driver that you want to go to the 'Mani Bhavan Ghandi Museum' and have the address written on a piece of paper in case. Twice we tried to get there and the last driver...

More interesting than we expected - recommended as part of the tour - especially the scenes which showed events throughout his life.
Felt very privileged to see where Gandhi used to stay when in Bombay. Try to visit when it is less crowded since there isn't very much room!
i liked everything about it !!!!best kept place remembering the father of nation!!! It has best ambience I have ever felt!!! you are at peace once you are here. also the fassad, the wooden staircases, the windows which are the reminences of the British India!!! also this as the place from where BAPU started consuming Goat's Milk!!!
Museum is small in size, with displays, rather than actual photos, etc. There was one room set up where he'd slept and worked. Most space is NOT air conditioned, making it uncomfortable. My group agreed, for the most part, it was quite depressing experience. But, it is historical.
