I was actually driving from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon when I saw a sign and decided that we should stop here. I'm glad we did. The drive through part was awesome, although the animals were very relaxed and staying out of the sun. We did get to see bear cubs playing in the walk through part later. The... More

This was a fun time with some unique animals and close-up encounters. The highlight of our experience was the drive through the animal enclosures. We got closer to animals than at any other park and this includes wolves walking right up to your car. We also enjoyed the exhibits and they had a lot of bear cubs which were fun... More

The drive through is great, there so lots of space for the animals and they all looked relaxed in their surroundings, they had spaced each of the enclosures well apart and with a wide road so that you could pass people as needed who wanted to spend more time watching the animals. The bears, the bison and the wolves and... More

I live in Phoenix and this past Memorial Day weekend we decided to get out of the heat, head up to the pines and check out one of Arizona's newest wildlife parks - Bearizona. There was great signage along Interstate 17 which made finding the park very easy. The front entrance to the park was nicely done and the staff... More

This was a spring break side trip on our way to the Grand Canyon and it was really worth the time. They had little baby bears to enjoy as well as the "bear kindergarten" exhibit. The raptor show was really fun, funny and incredible. It definitely was a highlight visit for our girls.

Great wildlife park, drive through and see a good mixture of wildlife. Roads are wide enough that you don't get stuck behind any one. Highlight was the baby bears in the walk through area after the drive through. Reasonable price and easy to access as it is just off the main road. Takes about an 1 1/2 - 2 hours... More

You really get to see the wildlife...especially the bears. The babies are too cute and the juveniles are a hoot! Great for kids!

We stumbled upon this place by accident on our trip through the grand canyon. Being the animal lover that I am, I insisted on going. It was quite expensive, I think $40-45 for two people, and I would have been disappointed had there not been so many bears, including the babies. The other animals are cool, although there were a... Nice drive thru / walk about park. Loved the baby bears :) Great part of our trip (and unexpected). This is the way to see wildlife. I hate zoos but this place had more of a park feel than a zoo.

My son and I finally got a chance to visit Bearizona. My biggest concern was wether we would be able to see the animals alert and walking around. We arrived at 10:30am and proceeded to the drive through area. Of course, some animals were napping but many were up and around and VERY close to the car areas. Although it... More
