The drive isn't really any different from what you'd see on Highway 1, but definitely check out the Pebble Beach lodge. The view there is amazing, worth having a drink and enjoying the view. I think you can get your $10 back if you buy something (other than drinks) at the Pebble Beach lodge.
This attraction is definitely worth the price. From the moment you embark on this scenic, winding piece of road, it's a surreal & stunning trip. The way winds around windswept sand & gorgeous golf greens, undulating up & down, always with a spectacular view of the foaming surf & ragged rocks which mark the rugged coastline. The many Cypress trees...

17 mile drive well worth the small fee. We really enjoyed the views, ocean and wildlife. Spotted alot of deer which were not skittish at all. The weather was wonderful as they were experiencing unusually warm weather. Perfect!
A wonderous drive and you have to pay 10:00 to get in. Bikes and walkers are free. There is a good reason for the fee. It is protected. They will give you a good map, and the fee is valid for all day, so you can drive into Monterey, visit the Aquarium and drive back, if staying in Carmel, which...

They charge for the privilege of rubbing elbows with the well to do, but it is well worth it. Pebble Beach is always wonderful. The homes are just about the best real estate in the US. The sunsets are varied and very photogenic. Take your time and enjoy.
The scenery is as breathtaking as everyone says. From the beautful homes to the dramatic coastline - it lives up to your expectations!
If ever in the area it's a must do. The 17 mile drive takes you through an amazing array of properties, scenery and great golf courses with stop off points to get the best out of the drive. They charge US$ 9 to drive round but if you have lunch or buy anything at Pebble Beach it's refunded. Lunch is...

We paid our $10 and expected to see something worthwhile. The beaches were nothing out of the ordinary, the golf courses were not spectacular to look at, I can't understand why they charge people to view a public area. Save your money and drive along the Big Sur, now that is something to see and it is free.
The 17 Mile Drive is a must if in the area. We started from Carmel so did it in reverse, which ended up being quite good as the traffic was all coming from the opposite direction. I hadn't realized that Pebble Beach was a whole resort you can stay at, as well as play golf. Visitors are most welcome to...
