I have the Vail Resorts epic pass. Unfortunately with lift ticket prices at most places, it just makes sense to buy the pass, even though I hate the corporate skiing concept. I have skiied at Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly and Northstar this year. Homewood is still my favorite after 15 years of skiing there and I can't imagine I... More

Homewood might have just five lifts, but there's plenty of terrain to keep skiers/riders of all ages busy for a day. Clientele is mostly locals or friends of families who have homes in the area. A refreshing change from the tourist crowd at other resorts. And the views are the best at the lake; they put even Heavenly to shame.

Our family had two fun days of skiing and absolutely loved the views of the lake. The people working at the resort were very nice. We loved the club panini and the garlic fries at the north lodge. Ellis needs to be upgraded; it is painfully slow.

this is always one of our stops on a trip to Tahoe for skiing. it's especially good on a busy holiday day. very laid back, not too crowded. You cannot beat the scenery!! The price is right. There are nice runs thru the trees. the only "knock" it receives is it could use one more high speed lift. just one... More

We enrolled our son for two-full days lesson because we thought he would have fun learning ski again after his first wonderful experience at Squaw Valley. It ended up letting him wait most of the time after going through the "magic carpet" conveyor that would bring the kids uphill. As i was watching the first day, my son waited for... More

Horrible experience! I paid $135 for my daughter to be ignored most of the day, she never even got lunch! MOST of the instructors were nice they just had too many students to deal with. Unfortunately they have an employee named "Nick", he was so rude and unprofessional. He really seemed to hate being there. The only thing he enjoyed... More

We went here to save a few bucks at the end of an expensive snowboard trip. We had heard mixed reviews about this resort and were a bit leery. What a pleasant surprise! There were no crowds, the mountain was really nice and the views are damn impressive! Great runs, nice little bar and decent food. Will most definitely be... More

the views by far exceded my expectations! weekday attendance low and we had many runs to ourselves. really liked the fact they had plenty of intermediate runs and everyone can head to the top of the mountain for the views as they have a beginner run to come down on. staff friendly and helpful. parking close with shuttle service every... Had two of our kids get full day lessons on Tuesday 1-22-13. Very smooth and nice staff with getting them geared up. The instructors were awesome and spent extra time with our daughter. My wife and I had the 3 year old and played in the snow nearby. We got hunger at lunch but the Ski Resort cafe was not... More

I went this past weekend with my husband and we were blown away with the amazing views of the Lake while snowboarding down the mountain. Most of the trails are blue/black but if that doesn't bother you then check it out! The trails are super wide and views straight down. It's a small mountain, so the lifts are not as... More
