We always have a request from our grandchildren when they come to visit us. It is free, clean and fun. Great place for them to run around and play. They can ware off some of their energy and settle down for some quit time for the adults to visit if needed.
My daughter had a wonderful time and the slides were so much fun. Parking was easy, maybe because I prayed before? This is a busy park with many kids running around but very enjoyable.
Got some time to spare or need to let the little ones run around for a bit? Dennis the Menace Park is a pretty terrific space, complete with slides, bridges, and other activities, but we like the huge train to climb on and explore.
A great little park in Monterey founded by the comic strip creator. They had a mini rock climbing wall, a sway bridge and a real train amongst their highlights. Park is free so go check it out!
Wow, this park is amazing, I was riding my bike to check out this park and was in ah when I walked through it. What a incredible place to bring your kids - fabulous park!
We have visited this park every time we go to Monterey. The park includes slides (not your typical playground equipment), tunnels, bridges, a climbing wall, and swings for young adventurers. The equipment and grounds are maintained well.
Kids love this place, there's multiple play areas suitable for different ages, and it's all free. Parking can be tough, pray for a spot before you go.
Our kids (ages 7 and 2) loved this park and named it one of the best things we did on vacation! The unique wooden bridge and the long slides were hard to leave once we wore ourselves out at the park. Be aware: the park is closed on Tuesdays while local schools are in session... we could have saved ourselves...

this is a really imaginative playground. I would go there anytime I have a child who needs a good, safe outdoor environment to have fun and be challenged at the same time.
