I was in the area in the late 90's and went on my first whale-watching cruise with them. It was earlier in the year and we saw a lot of gray whales at the time. This time we saw a lot of humpback whales. The crew is very professional and knowledgeable and will take the extra time to find the... More

still in awe about our experience, we went out 4 times in one week with these people on the sea wolf 2, you cant fault them, from the time you get on the boat to when you get off, very professional people who knew what they were talking about, we saw loads of humpback whales, and a blue whale, risso... With Monterey being the "bread basket" in the Pacific Ocean for sea life, we didn't want to miss out viewing the whales and other sea life during one of the best seasons to view. Monterey Whale Watching excursions was recommended as the best and we were not disappointed. the boat was big enough to accommodate the ocean with a heated... More

We were on the 10am boat, which was full, but not overly crowded. The crew was very friendly and came around often to speak one-on-one with people during the trip. I definitely suffer from motion sickness on boats, so I put a behind-the-ear patch on the afternoon prior and had no problems. We saw four humpbacks (one went under our... More

My wife and I took the Whale Watching tour on the Sea Wolf 2. What a great day. We saw 20 Humpbacks, 4 Killer Whales, 2 kinds of Dolphins, as well as birds of all kinds. They crew was great, and very knowledgeable. We have been trying to see the Humpbacks for years, and this was the first time, and... More

It is always hit and miss what you'll see out in Monterey Bay so seeing anything is a bonus! The guys on the boat are really knowledgeable and made the whole trip enjoyable. So easy to catch their boat from Monterey Fisherman's Wharf. We were lucky and saw pods of dolphins - which were fantastic as wel as couple of... More

This tour was awesome. The staff are really knowledgeable and are just as enthusiastic about seeing whales as the guests are. On my trip on April 21st we saw 3 killer whales and two humpbacks. We also saw pacific white-sided dolphins and sea lions. If you think you may get seasick then take the meds before you go. There were... More

We've been whale watching three times, and each time it's been an incredible experience. After going twice in southern California with Captain Dave's Dolphin and Whale Safari and having an incredible experience both times, we were looking for a similar experience out of Monterey Bay. While we didn't see the killer whales we were hoping we'd see, we saw several... More

We took our son and grandson out for whale watching and were pleased to see whales twice and several dolphin pods as well. We like this company because of the marine biologist on board who knows so much and is personable. Our little grandson had motion sickness and everyone was so kind and helpful. Thanks for a great experience.

OK I have been out twice now and seen more whales coming out of McDonald's than in the pacific. We did the channel Island's last year without success so came back to California for another go. The boat is fairly small so the minimum number, even out of season, will generally get you on one of the trips in the... More
