We recently made a 10 day visit to the Central Coast area. Not just for wine, but we did make stops in Los Olivos, SLO area wineries, Templeton area wineries, the Paso Robles wine festival and several wine bars in the area. OK, we like wine. It was our first visit to this region and we were so impressed. But,... More

We visited Tablas Creek today and If you are looking for top class wines with friendly staff on a beautiful organic vineyard, this is it. My wife and I were impressed by the quality through all the wines we tried. I highly recommend their free daily tour which we took for an informative insight into their winemaking and change to... This vineyard is a good distance from all the others. They are known for their Rhone blends. Ian not a fan. This was unfortunately a downer for me. Note: People love their wines. If you lie French wines ...this is your spot. Their vines are often duplicated by others to get the Rhone taste. Note: Beautiful location for a picnic!

If you like wines in the European style and wineries that echo that mode, this is the place for you. Unfortunately, we don’t care for either of these things. But Tablas Creek is a wine-making pioneer in the Paso area so even if you don’t think you like Euro-style wines, this may be worth a stop.

We wanted to try the Rhone varieties so this place did not disappoint. Our tasting was great and educational and our pourer did not talk down to us. Wish we could have toured the vineyards but wrong time. Beautiful location.

We had a great educational winery tour with Lauren that was great. Beautiful vineyard and winery 10 miles up a winding road - very scenic drive though b. Wine tasting was just ok. Enjoyed a couple of the 8 wines served and most were $30+.

We've visited Tablas Creek a half dozen times or so, and have always enjoyed the wine and the experience. On our last visit we were fortunate enough to have Tedde pour for us. She is a delight, and we spent an hour discussing the wines and how best to pair them with food. We purchased a good many of the... More

This place has the best wines in all of Paso, but ever since they expanded their tasting room it feels too corporate. It's no longer as fun to visit, so I'll keep up my wine club membership but will skip the in person tastings.

Opinion on wine is very subjective because it depends on your taste. This was my first time trying wines from the Rhone region (Grenache, Mourvèdre grapes) so I was not used to the taste. The person doing the tasting was very knowledable and explain a lot to us about the wines and the vineyard, however I was not impressed by... More

Enjoyed coming here in Sept-brought food and enjoyed their beautiful picnic area. We had bought a few wines, and the host brought one out in an ice bucket to our picnic table. Nice touch! This is THE PLACE for good whites in Paso. They are slightly over priced for whites, but have a marvelous taste-just go for it and enjoy!
