This is a Napa "Don't Miss". Craig and Kathryn Hall have certainly attained their masterpiece and you should enjoy this amazing vineyard while they are willing to share. The wines are spectacular and, in our opinion, for the quality fairly priced. The 2008 Kathryn Hall was the Wine Spectator #2 Wine of the World! The Hall Cabernet may not be...

Visit to Napa for a couple of days before a meeting in SF. Out of 6 vineyards, Hall in Rutherford had the best ambience and excellent Cabernet Sauvignons. Kendra W. was an amazing host with great wine knowledge and a terrific personality. The 2007 Kathryn Hall cab was a favorite. Don't miss this winery!
This time we took a short drive up Rutherford Hill to get to Hall winery's facility off of the Silverado Trail. Before we even entered the tasting room - which appeared to be a contemporary structure with floor-to-ceiling windows to view the valley below - the marketing director, Ed Curry, met us at our car with two glasses of '10...

WOW is an understatement to describe the wine cave. Most impressive chandelier. We were served a dinner with wine pairings that made you feel like you were kings and queens. The wines were truly a work of art!
After the trek up the mountain, we were treated to a nice intro in the Hall's "Living Room" The cave is great, and the chandelier is beautiful, but my favorite part, besides the great wine, was the amazing view from the initial tasting room/building. Not an inexpensive tasting, but with the wine being poured it is worth every penny!
First time coming to Hall but definitely not my last. The red wines there were amazing. The people pouring the wine were very knowledgeable and gave a lot of background on the wine. Have been to Napa many time but never to Hall. Strongly recommended as many of the tastings were of wine that were only available at the vineyard....

A friend of ours highly suggested doing a private tasting in the caves at Hall in Rutherford...and I'm so glad we did. It's like being in someone's house, very comfortable and welcoming with loads of art etc. The tasting is in the caves and the rooms is spectacular as is the tasting itself. Todd did our tasting and we really...

After speaking with Back Room Wines in Napa, they highly recommended Hall. While I couldn't get the tour due to my last minute attempt, they do offer tastings at Hall- St Helena. Their wines(any of them!) do not disappoint, and I can see why the Kathryn Hall Cab took home #2 on Wine Spectator's Top 100. If you are visiting...

I was excited to taste Kathryn Hall but learned that they didn't have any available at the moment. Ended up tasting Hall branded wines instead. The people there weren't that into selling their wine and seemed tired and unmotivated. Maybe because we went there at 5pm and they closed at 5.30pm?
Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. Our 2008 H "Kathryn Hall" Cabernet was named the #2 Wine of the Year and it sold out right away. We apologize you did not receive the experience you expected -- on August 25th we will celebrate the release of the 2009 vintage at our St. Helena property. Please call...
