I've been attending shows at this theater for around 24 years. There's been lots of changes, but they always provide a quality experience. Great shows, great people, lots of fun! I think the only downside is the parking issue, but that's really just more of a downtown Sac problem. :o) Grab some dinner and enjoy a show!

Went to see the show last month and loved it. Sometimes you forget how much fun the live theatre can be. Skip the wine tent. Overpriced nasty wine in a dixie cup.

Saw Wicked here this past weekend. We sat in the Grand Tier, row L. Absolutely wonderful seats. I'm tall and there was plenty of leg room and room for people to walk past. Row L is the very back row so nobody sitting behind you kicking your seat. Stadium seating so not a bad seat in this level. Close bathrooms... More

The lineup is very entertaining and they hire top notch actors. We've been subscribers for many years, and will continue to be.

What a fun place to go when you're looking for something fun to do in the evening. Always a great selection of shows (big & small) and love the coy atmosphere.

Four of us attended "How Long Has This Been Going On?" --a review of Ira and George Gershwin's wonderful music from the 30's. The cast was excellent with very good voices. The music was a piano and a bass --and they were good too. It was just a very pleasant evening. The "theater" is more a large room with excellent... More

I just saw "Anything Goes" at Music Circus. The old tent is gone and a new air conditioned theater has taken its place. There is not a bad seat in the house. Lots of restrooms too. Food and drink. If you have a person in a wheelchair, they have seats on the front row for your person in a wheelchair... More

We took in the show called "The Importance of being Earnest" We got there 1/2 hour before show time in order to take advantage of the half price tickets. Got a little worried seeing only elderly people around. The crowd did consist of 80% 50 yrs and above and about 15% homosexual with my husband and I and 2 other... More

Music Circus is the professional theater of summer in Sacramento. National tours of Broadway shows come weekly to Music Circus. This intimate theater-in-the-round has no bad seats. Shows are affordable and often sold out. The Wells Fargo Pavilliobn has replaced the old circus tent, and with it the hot temperatures during performance. This is a well loved summer tradition in...
