These hand crafted wines are meticulously cared for from the vineyards to the winery to make extraordinary Napa Valley character wines. With estate vineyards in the Oakville and Yountville appellations, these cool-climate grapes are designated for the Tamber Bey signature single-vineyard wines. The tasting room is open from 10am to 8pm daily, and you can enjoy a flight tasting, glass and bottle pours either on the wine bar, lounge area, private tasting room or at the bistro tables outside. « less

I lvoed the tour of Tamber Bey. Having the owner there was a terrific bonus. His describing hos journey to making wine and how he comes up with the names of the wines was extremely interesting. The property was gorgeous. This was a group tour for the spouses at a conference. The wines were lovely and yummy!

We had a very polite and enthusiastic hostess. The setting was very nice. Our party of three sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful day. The wines were average, at best. Overall, I have to say that there are many better wine tasting experiences in the Napa valley.

I was fortunate to come across Tamber Bey on my visit to Napa. Barry personally did our tasting which lasted well over two hours and included a tour of his estate and wonderful insites into the wines, the land, and the grapes. We had the pleasure of trying five different wines, having lunch on Barry's estate, and after lunch a... More

I would not have known about this winery if not for the fact that Natalie was pouring their wine in the lobby of Christopher's Inn in Calistoga, CA. She was very engaging and knew how to talk about wine. She suggested that I visit the tasting room while on vacation in the Napa Valley. Now, I suggest to you to... More

The tasting room is walking distance from many restaurants and other activities in St Helena. We've purchased from them several times, joined the club, and will continue to return. The tasting room is very inviting and spacious.

Hired a driver for the day. He looked at our list of wineries we wanted to visit and then made two additional suggestions. Tamber Bey was one, and Black Cat was the other. Both were outstanding but since this is a review of TB....that's what I'll comment on! Gorgeous setting. Fabulous wine. Wonderful hospitality! I actually believe they were closed,... More

You have to know where to go to find Tamber Bey as it's a block or so off the main street in St. Helena. We visit every time we go to Napa Valley and it's always wonderful. Great wines to taste and paired with the savory cookies is a very nice touch. Lovey tasting room, with - gasp! - seats... More

Their tasting room is off of 29 in a small building. Very relaxed and feels like an old country store. Sit at the bar or a table by the window they are easy. Custom wine cookie flight goes with the wine and neither disappoint. Steve was a pleasure and of our group of four none could find a wine we... More

We sort of stumbled into this place but am very happy we did!! The owners were engaging and very interesting and I learned more about wine (and horses!) than I did the rest of my Napa trip. Definitely worth a visit.....

I had 3 fabulous days of wine tasting in Napa. However, this one winery was the exception. Wine was ok at best. Not a fan of the Merlot. We met the owner at his house for the tasting. The house had a beautiful view from the back porch. The owner was a very intelligent guy with great stories. However, he... More

i am sorry that heather and her husband did not have a good time. we opened our home to her from a recommendation of a good friend, and not only poured our wines, but allowed them to bring in and have a lunch on our back patio (and offered them wine for that). they spent almost 2 hours here. i...
