On Thursday evening the market moves to downtown San Rafael on 4th St. where... More

Wonderful Farmers Market...at the Civic Center. Bypass the spring to fall 4th Street "Farmers Market" which is nothing more than a low end flea market.
Beautiful displays of mostly organic produce, cheeses, meats, fish, baked goods, prepared foods, and crafts. A great spot to wander, eat, photograph, and chat with farmers and customers. Spend as much or as little time and money as you like. Prices are high, but quality and variety are extraordinary. Go early to miss the crowds.
Great Farmers' Market...Good Food, People watching, Music, Gifts. Thought Farmers' Markets were products priced at discounts?? Bring your wallet..prices are steep, spend $100 every time!!

There is a park by the Farmers Market, with benches, walking trails and a pond. It is a great place to take a... More
Wide selection of produce, meats, and accessories, and some good food trucks. We went with local friends, and picked up cheese, fruit, hummus, and the last of the good tomatos for slow roasting.
