Very nice view, vendors out front selling stuff. The local honey is awesome! Try the white zinfandel!
We went to these wineries. They had a special of $18 for two flights, one at each winery. The wine was good, the people were super nice and the view beautiful! I must stop if you are in Temecula!
The picture in trip advisor of Van Roekel is NOT the one we visited. We have tasted Grenache wines from many different areas and vintages. The 2008 was fabulous, rich, yummy unbelievable. The staff was a bit stiff, but not to the levels noted in other reviews. What a jewel. I have challenged our local French wine merchant to a... More
We went to VR first this was the first winery out of several in Temecula that did not have any wines that impressed me enough to buy one. Also there was a terrible smell in the tasting room and I couldn't wait to get out of there. It gets worse though. We purchased the dual pass to MC winery. We... More
We have visited wine tasting rooms for over 30 years and this was our first time in Temecula. We were taken aback at the policy of this winery's "pay at the cashier before you taste" and the receipt of a tasting card where your tastes are checked off as you receive them, really? This formality takes the enjoyment out of... More
Horrible customer service! Skip this dead beat winery with the worse customer service ever! They don't value their customers at all and we were treated very rudely!
I love my sparking wines and Champage and I was delighted with what Maurice Carr'rie had to offer. The tasting room is really cute with a really nice little gift shop. The pourer was very informative and helpful with making tasting choices. I tasted all Sparkling these were my fav's in order: 1. The Pineapple, dry with just a slight... More
When we travel to Teneculas wineries this is our first stop, we get out and stretch our legs and sit at one of the picnic tables outside and order a glass of wine and also order the Baked Sourdough Stuffed Brie Bread. The tasting is good but we love stopping here for this ritual. ( also wife likes to check... More
We loved the white wines at this one. We also enjoyed the staff, very knowledgable about the wineries owners and history and also about the surrounding area wineries. This is supposedly one of if not the oldest winery in Temecula, not sure....They also had vendors out front on the lawn which was enjoyable.
This was the meeting place for our hot air balloon trip. The restroom facilities are clean. There were a few craft booths outside by the parking lot. We had some beverages, salami and cheese on the porch. Purchased some gifts and souvenirs to take home. Small but nice shop.
