Definitely off the beaten path. Fun for hipsters. Kind of old and restored. They show some great movies though--ones that are otherwise unavailable until they come out on DVD.

Nice attention when buying tickets, snacks, and drinks from the upstairs bar (Jessica?) Great movie, sound, picture, not crowded, well behaved audience. Great experience.

Watch first run movies in a famous old time theater not a multiplex. Great interior in a fun part of Denver that has been re vitalized.

The main screen on the first floor is decorated in a Mayan theme, with sculptures on the walls. It is pretty neat to see. They serve their popcorn with real butter. They have a bar upstarirs by the other 2 theaters and have a good selection of micro brew beers.

I would personally recommend this theatre for 1 time visit only. It's a UNIQUE place (a lil bit creepy) The room is very small and the chairs are not comfortable. Verdict: for people who likes adventure (like me): try it! If your a type of person who want to relax and enjoy the movie: this is not for you.

I have been going here for years. It is a fun old theatre located on broadway. You find movies here that are not in the cinemas other places.

The Mayan shows movies that tell the story and don't rely on technology. It doesn't have the best seats for comfort in town. The popcorn is great. Remember to park on Lincoln and walk across the street and over to Broadway.

If you're looking for large luxurious seats, don't go here. But if you're looking for good movies, in a classic (original/retro) space, then you'll love the experience here!

Great, classic old move house with a Mayan motif. There is a bar upstairs so you can have a glass of wine or beer while enjoying a movie. Prices are reasonable. Parking can be a pain in this neighborhood, especially in the evening.
