It is a lot of money for something which is time consuming without much to offer. The actual zip-line is short and is placed at a wide section of the river but doesn't offer much to look at.
It is fun and a bit scarey. The views are wonderful. They have a restaurant up there also. A alpine ride is up on the mountain also. Go there and have a great time.
A very neat zip line experience. A long zip line across the river and then back. It is fast and long.
Now this is what I call fun. zipline across the Colorado River. We paid for doing it twice. It was so much fun I wish it was longer. Wish you could just start out and follow the river down and around. Would do it again. At 56yrs old This was on my bucket list and loved it.
Not cheap, but definitely fun. The staff seemed to take safety very seriously which we appreciated. Glenwood Canyon Resort - stunning location. They have a challenge course right by the Colorado River. The staff are WONDERFUL! Very friendly, helpful. They entertained the kids (older teens) throughout the course. You climb, walk over high places on small wires, balancing, etc. You zip over the Colorado River and back. We did the optional (extra fee) Leap of Faith...

We had never done this before and I think this is a good one to start with because it's not too high or too long. Staff was knowledgeable and made you feel at ease. Give it a try!
We spent a long weekend with another couple in Colorado, we wanted to have a fun day outdoors and thought white water rafting would be perfect! We are in late 20s/early 30s. We signed up for the half day on Shoshone, followed by lunch, and then zip lining, ropes course and rock wall climbing. The rafting trip was a bust....

We camped at the Glenwood Canyon Resort, which is part of the Zipline Adventures and under the same ownership. We had a reservation to camp by the river and the owner told us to pick any one of 8 open sites. We picked the spot we wanted and and set up. About ten minutes later, we got into an angry...
