The gondola goes from downtown Telluride over to the Mountain village. It is free and runs all day until midnight. They allow you to take your pets and your bikes on the gondola as well so you can go back and forth without any hassle.

What is better than looking at beautiful scenery while riding a Gondola from lodging to town? During the day you see snow caped mountains, wild life, and Aspens and during the evening you see the twinkling lights of the fairy tale town of Telluride.

Free is always good and the free gondola in Telluride is the best bargain in town. We rode the gondola twice during our overnight stay in Telluride. The views are unbeatable! Plan to do this when you are in Telluride!!!!

The ride was a beautiful scenic ride and it was free... next time we visit Telluride, we will probably use it multiple times.... son loves it.

The ride was wonderful and pet friendly. You must exit the St. Sophia Station to look at the amazing views. Then get back on the gondola and go to Mountain village.
