Went here with the wife last week Great selection of beers from their own brewery and others Nice and cosy with log fire and plenty of dogs. Food was tasty ,we sampled the steak and ale pie Would visit again next time may try and walk it

Nice country pub that does food a bit better than the average pub grub. Nice atmosphere but gets packed inside and out so not always easy to get a table - fast service and good food - nice surroundings

Spent a night here. Like every other place in the Lakes the Staff and Locals are very friendly. I even got invited to join the Entertainer for rendition of 'Hotel California' brilliant.

The brewery on site produces a selection of great ales. The menue was inspired. We hadnt seen savoury Bread and Butter pudding as a main course before. My wife tried it and enjoyed it.
