Great day even with a little wind, roomy beach with miles to walk along even with your furry friend. Parking lots strategically placed for easy access. Just a great place to relax and enjoy the unspoiled view.

Get there early to find easy parking. After 11am it was difficult to park except over by the Doc restaurant. Also most of it is paid parking. reasonably priced. The beach was definitely less crowded than fort myers beach. However I love the convenience Fort Myers Beach offers. It has better parking and ice cream you can walk to. If...

Limited parking, but plenty for the slightly less traffic in April. Bring a chair, because the beach is a mix of sand and broken shells, so it's not the most comfortable for laying on a towel. No trees for shade, but there are rental umbrellas (and chairs, too). Changing rooms and outdoor showers available. Parking by the hour. Nice views...

First time here and maybe 1st week of April still had Spring Break vacationers, so it was impossible to find any parking. If you're going to go to the beach get there before 10:00am!
Really nothing special about this beach, parking was tight, narrow beach. Stick around Fort Myers Beach instead and use the beach access lots further down Estero Blvd.
Traveled through Florida, wishing to see as much as we can we find ourselfes in Naples FL. We have heard very good things about their beach, didn't have map and didn't find the way to the public beach. I wish there is more signes in the town to point you where to go.
When we finally located map we went...

Loved the area! Our favorite was Barefoot Beach. The only dislike was parking at the beach is very hard to find. If you get there after 2pm it gets easier because the morning sunbathers are starting to leave and the afternoon sunbathers and coming in.
Went to Bonita Beach Feb 2013 and brought out of town family. The beach was a hit. Great walking, shelling, clean. Handicapped accessible and reasonable fees; $1.00 per hour.
We like to visit the various beaches, Bonita, Ft Myers, Lovers Key, Marco Island, Port Charlotte, as even though they all have plenty of sand, they are all unique and have different characteristics depending on if you want to have a quieter or busier type of beach experience.
Bonita beach is nice in that you can park very close to...

Great beach for young family, especially on a calm day. Popular with families but not overcrowded. Explore the estuary and wildlife (birds) to the north and even wade/swim across at low tide (beware current if not low tide - use good sense). Seemingly endless beach to the south - lose yourself in a wistful stroll or enjoy a nice jog....
