If you like walking, jogging, biking, rollerblading, skating, or just to watch beautiful people, this is your place in Miami Beach. Beautiful seaside, nice, safe and clean.

Clean, beach access and close to food and right on Ocean Drive. Excellent people watching. You'll enjoy walking through the park to get to the beach.

My family and I had the most woderful time ever at the Lummus Park Beach. The sand is white and soft. It was a great area for biking, relaxing at the beach and checking out shops. Crazy cool nightlife. Renting bikes for the girls and drinking out of real coconuts was super fun

This is a very nice beach, close to all places of attraction in South Beach, but not so busy, a lot of chairs and umbrellas to rent ($15.00 I believe). Water is turquoise and beautiful. On the days we were there, the water was shallow (below your waist-line) up to a distance of 60 feet away from the shore. Bathrooms... More

It is very busy and not a family type area. There are a lot of posh type hotels and restaurants and hi end shopping. If you are single and looking for that - then it's the perfect place to visit - families - not so much. We were very disappointed.

lots to see and do. lots of food and hotels along the streets of 5th to 14th street. I love the thing that says Miami Beach and has the date on it. People usually stop there and take pics like we did. The beach is mostly full of people, visitors. There are men out there selling coconuts.. I brought one... More

Very bustling. If you're staying in the area, you could pack a pair of sneakers and run here every morning. Places to run and rent bikes. There are some volleyball nets set up too. Right along Ocean Drive, so you could hang out in the park and on the beach then had over across the street for some lunch and... More

I just love that area of Miami Beach. Sunny, cool people, nice beach. Sometimes hard to park around, just keep trying and you'll find a spot. Always used street parking or those public lots, payed hourly.

We've been to South Beach twice...and each time we visit we make sure to visit this park. This is one of the highlights of our trip. I love walking up and down the paths... as well as rentling a bike and riding up and down them. RE: bike rental - you can spend more money and rent a bike right... More
