Fun taking the golf cart to the beach. Beach was wonderful and very clean. Watched the amazing sunset! This beach also has a small cafe and facilities which is nice.
The awesome tram ride through the mangroves is what largely separates this beach from any other on the SW Florida mainland~that and its adjacency to the Waldorf-Astoria and the $8 public parking fee meant to keep the "riff-raff" out. The beach itself is nothing special by Naples standards, i.e., overcrowded and narrow. There's a beach bar that serves food where... More
Go with the volunteer and learn about the native plants and animals that live along the walkway. Lasts about a leisurely hour and you end up at the beach. Try it, you may like it and it's free.
This beautiful beach located at the end of pine ridge road is perfect for families. You can walk or take a tram out to the beach. You don't need to take anything with you because everything is there! Showers, bathroom, snack food and best of all helpful (and cute) beach boys. The team, Luke, Addison, Devon and Dylan literally run... More
Free parking, free golf cart ride to beach, snacks at beach, white sandy beach, shells easy to find, a lot of open areas to sunbath
Plenty of car parking at only $8 a day. Free trolley (courtesy of Waldorf Astoria Hotel) through the mangroves to the beach. Not too crowded, wonderful white sand. Excellent restaurant for lunch. Will be returning.
Just went there today with 5 other local ladies. We like to get there early before the "crowds" and we arrived today at 9. So clean and peaceful. The water temperature was about 80 so after the initial shock was over, all six of us floated for an hour or so on our noodles. Life just doesn't get better! At... More
My wife and I come to Naples to our condo that is 2 miles away from this gorgeous beach 3-4 times a year and never go to any other beach as this is hands down the nicest on the FL gulf side. The tram ride through the mangrove forest is 6/10 of a mile long and the drivers are always... More
Love taking my young kids to this beach when we are in town. The amenities make it an enjoyable, easy beach day. Parking is $8 if you don't have a resident beach sticker but it's worth it. The boardwalk through the mangroves to the beach is 5/8ths of a mile but you can ride the golf carts back and forth... More
