Nice museum. For muscle cars. When in Punta Gorda, a must see.Enjoyed looking at some cars I use to own, many moons ago.
This is thee place if your into hi performance and old cars. Something for everyone, cars from the 1920', motorcycles, Corvettes of every years, all in show room condition.
A superb assemblage of GM built autos that will bring memories back to any adult. A private collection available to the public for a small fee. Nice indoor facility with a great diner if you're looking for upscale diner fare. A must see.
If you are into GM make of car this is OK, but not much else, Oh, forgot the restaurant is nice for a quick bite with good pricing, they also have some nice car events and a monthly flea market.
This is really a very interesting museum and well worth a visit. My only complaint or suggestion would be to add some information about the car with each car. Saw this museum recently on the show Corvette Nation and decided to drive on down with a friend. This place is heaven for GM muscle car fans. The Corvette collection in itself was worth the drive. We also took a break for lunch in the dinner (burger and a tuna melt with perfect fries). One really cool thing is the... More
We visited this museum Sept 15th. It was truly amazing how many cars were on display. My husband absolutely loved it. He found "his" car he had when he was in college. I sat at a table and told him to have at it. It definitely is a place for the muscle car aficionada.
Viewing all those old cars and seeing some "animated" mechanics was priceless. Lunch in that old fashioned diner is something I would highly recommend. Be prepared to wait for service because there was only one waitress the day we were there.
My son and I walked through the door and both stopped in our tracks. Rows of shining muscle cars and other antiques. It was a short visit but inspiring. Even if your not a car person the art of these vehicles are highlighted nicely.
Fun place to visit, if you like old cars (mostly Chevys). Reasonable admission fee, too. Took lots of pictures.
