The Pier is directly in front of the Sharky Restaurant and extends out over the nice beach quite far into the Gulf. There is lots of fishing going on and particularly busy at the end of the pier. Nice view along the beaches on both sides and on to the open water.

Great fun. It is a fishing pier, so be prepared. You can rent gear and buy bait if you didn't bring your own. Sharky's restaurant is at the beach end of the pier, too. So if you fish nights, you may be able to hear a live show. So it's good even if the fish aren't biting.

'Twas a beautiful Sunday mid-morning. Who's going to win the battle for the fresh caught fish? Man or pelican?.

Just a week ago we were looking down and saw 5 rays sweeping the edge of the beach just under the pier and a little n. The beach goers were totally unaware. Have seen dolphins swimming under the pier, plenty of pelicans, and gorgeous sunsets.
