The whole experience was very nice. The view around on top was itself breathtaking. The full view of lakeshore drive, all other skyscrapers having swimming pool on top, the yatchs and boats out in the lake .. the whole thing was fabulous... oh and the sun was out :) Though many people were there I never felt rushed. A definite... more

The view is just spectacular, you owe it to yourself to get up there. Moreseo if, like us, you didn't fancy the ridiculous 2hr wait for the Skydeck @ Willis Tower. Hancock all the way! more

My son did the Willis tower this summer, so I took him to the Hancock tower on this trip. We bought the sun and stars tour which allows you to go once during the day and once at night. The ticket is valid for 48 hours, so it gives you plenty of time. It only costs 4 dollars more, and... more

Despite fabulously sunny weather and clear skies, there were no queues when I arrived at the Hancock at 9 am (opening time). The friendly staff were courteous and helpful. The elevator took seconds to make it to the 95th floor. The views were amazing and far better than those from the Willis (formerly Sears) Tower. The audio guide was useful... more

We followed the advice of other TripAdvisor members and went up to the lounge for a bite instead of taking the tour. We had a limited amount of time, so we thought we would combine a late lunch while we took in the view. It was a mistake. The lounge has some of the worst service that I have ever... more

The Hancock Observatory and Tower was a wonderful attraction to see. It is best to go on a decent day with some visibility. You have to wait in line for a fair amount of time, before you get brought up to the top of the building. So it may not be a bad idea to try and research when the... more

This is a must-see. The views are spectacular. Watching the sun go down and the city lights appear is incredible. They now have a headphone/audio presentation which is interesting. more

Great views from all four sides of the 94th floor. The guided audio tour narrated by David Schwimmer added a lot to the experience. We went on a Friday in August in the mid-afternoon and the wait for the elevator was not bad at all. more
