For a lake, the beach is surprisingly attractive.Flanked by beautiful buildings on one side and the lake waters on the other, lakeshore is a marvellous place for walking, jogging,cycling or beach volleyball....

As many times as I have been to Chicago, I have never been to the beach until this trip! I loved it! A lot of people there on the weekend and a lot of boats out. A great place to sit and read, walk, or ride a bike. Love the view of the buildings from the beach.

We call it the Lake Michigan Ocean. Any chance we get, even if it's just to pull in a parking lot and look. It's beautiful from the city or the Indiana, Michigan, or Wisconsin side. Beaches are so desirable as well. Great sand at most.

You can have a nice walk, of course it is windy so get a jacket with you, you get to see the beautiful skyline also.

I live and work near the lake and it is always a sight to see. Not to be taken for granted are the clean beaches and parks that are numerous.

Beautiful, windy and filled with gorgeous parks and free. You can walk for miles through magnificent parks with amazing sculptures, art, and fountains. Breath taking views. No wonder Opra's apartment overlooks this feast for the eyes. If you love to walk, run or quietly stroll with beautiful views, you'll love it.
