Fans of modern architecture will enjoy this tour. Approx 2 hours long (it probably could be even longer but 2 hours is a reasonable compromise given the amount of the city that is covered and the attention span of most tourists). Only 2 buildings (churches) were toured on foot; the rest is on the bus. Reservations are recommended. You should... More

People at the Visitor's center are wonderful, bus tours informative, and take to your feet for at least part of the tour. Parks in good weather are worthwhile--if only for the story of how a small city transformed an eyesore into a gem. (Bring your bikes if driving there!)- The museum for Cummins engine can even keep little boys amused--race... More

This is the second time I have taken this tour. Once with my young family ten years ago and now with my teenagers. We all loved it! Columbus is a great town full of beautiful buildings. This tour and the Miller House tour are a must. The reason I did not give the tour 5 stars was because we did... More

A good overview of the architectural must sees of Columbus, IN. I suggest you take the tour in the AM and get a feel for things and then you can return on your own later in the day for a closer look.

This little city is a gem. There are so many great buildings and the tour is a wonderful way to see them all. The people at the Visitor's Center and the tour guide were very nice and helpful. We can't wait to return and see the Miller House.

I'm the Director of the Grand Rapids Museum of Art and made a pilgrimage to Indianapolis to see friends and two other reasons: to experience the Indianapolis Museum of Art and see the Miller House in Columbus, Indiana. I had heard about Columbus in my art history class, and was thrilled to see some of the progressive buildings this forward-looking... More

We recently were in Columbus, IN with our RVing group and had signed up for the 2 hr. Architecture Tour. It was worth every penny of the tour. Our guide, Nancy, did a wonderful job. Even though my husband or I are architecture "geeks", Nancy did a wonderful job of keeping us very interested.

This is a two-hour guided tour on a most comfortable bus. Our guide, Dody, was enthusiastic and informative, and a great promoter of Columbus! We enjoyed this very much. Tip: buy tickets online ahead of time and be sure to arrive 30 minutes before your tour time!

This tour is a must for anyone who has an in interest in architecture, or is just curious about the art form. Columbus has an unprecedented collection of extraordinary buildings designed by some of the greatest architects of the past 50 years. This, in town of less than 40,000 inhabitants. The force behind this remarkable showplace is Cummins Engine Company,... More
