This is a neat place to take an afternoon stroll if you are visiting Indy. It is very well kept and clean.

Had a lovely walk on a Sunday afternoon, spotlessly clean, lots to see along the way, also saw a pink dog!!! Memorial to 911 near the Indiana Museum ( museum closed when we arrived). Small cafe.

We walked the canal at all different times of the day. We felt safe at all times. It is clean and well taken care of. You can rent paddle boats or bikes to enjoy the canal. Make sure you take bread to feed all the ducks.

Very nice and peaceful, and very well manicured. Takes you through the heart of downtown Indianapolis.

Did not know about the canal before I saw it! Loved it! We took long walks and could not believe how clean and safe it is at all times. Next visit, we will be renting a paddle-boat for the day.
