The IRT is simply beautiful. It has been well-maintained, and their production of a Christmas Carol was amazing. The snow was realistic, and the actors creatively used a picture frame to portray multiple props. My 60 year old father and 8 year old son loved the show!
Added perk: Before the show, my son got his picture taken for free...

EVERY show I have seen at the IRT has been of the highest quality! The actors are professional and the sets are always uniquely changing. I LOVE to visit the IRT and I know that the tickets are worth the money for a guaranteed good show!

We were here for my son's prom. This is a wonderful well kept example of older style architecture Such a noce place. I'd love to come for a show sometime. Really neat place.

The building is beautiful - an art deco gem. There is a wide variety of shows and all are very well done.

This is one of the most beautifully built buildings in downtown Indianapolis. The variety of shows and other uses for the building make it definitely worth the trip. The shows are generally priced well, especially compared with larger and similar sized cities.

We by tickets every year to at least 2 shows and always love it there. The theater is really nice inside with a tremendous atmosphere. Inexpensive entertainment.

Live professional theatre in a beautiful and well maintained facility. Produces well known traditional and new plays as well as original productions. It is not a large theatre, so all seats are good including the balcony. It is within walking distance of all downtown hotels.

Went for a Christmas Carol, and loved the historic theatre in a great downtown location... Would definitely go back. Parking may be tricky, but you usually find street parking, but if it's busy I recommend the Mall parking deck...it's cheap and easy. Great locale
