Many great displays, with lots of interactive displays--including museum volunteers who act out important roles for some of the events--make this museum fun for even the "oh no, not another boring museum" crowd. Enjoy the great displays, or spend hours reading the detailed descriptions....this place is a winner either way! More

The exhibit we saw when we were there was the Fountaine Ferry exhibit. It was great. The mainstays at the museum were interesting too. More

I've been to the Frazier Museum several times. I took my nephew there so we could spend some time, just us. He was 13, and we had a lot of fun exploring the museum together. We took turns making funny poses for pictures with the statues and figures. Being a 13 year old boy, he was suitably impressed with all... More

Went there as a side trip to a business convention. Tours are at your own pace. Very interesting display of Medieval swords, jousting and battle techniques of the age. Live demo of sword fight was educational and realistic. Most creative display of armour suits I have ever seen outside of Europe. Well designed, lots of notes and memos describing the... More

very well done, had an interesting visit, was fascinated by the English armor even though this isn't usually my cup of tea. Also check out the gift shop. More

Plan to spend a few hours wandering through the different exhibits if you're either a history or especially and armaments nut. More

Tucked away at the end of Museum Row on Main Street in Louisville, KY is the Frazier International Historical Museum. Referred to simply as "The Frazier" by the locals, the museum offers antiquities, live theater through historical interpretation, and customer service that Fortune 500 companies should emulate. The museum prides itself on the depth of research conducted by the interpreters... More

Frazier History Museum, located in downtown Louisville, was quite an enjoyable surprise for me! I'm a mid-20's, solo traveller and learned a lot visually and historically throughout the three floors of exhibitions. The most striking was the temporary exhibition on Da Vinci including a detailed look at his designs and secrets behind Mona Lisa. The royal armouries, history of America,... More
