Our 1st and only visit to The Henry Ford Greenfield village was a little disappointing. It was not as interactive as it could/should have been. We have a much smaller attraction nearby in NW Ohio called Sauder Village that is better presented by period-dressed employees. At The Henry Ford there were presenters here and there, but not in every building... More

We rode the train, the model T and walked the grounds for hours and hours. Compared to years past, we note there are far fewer docents, more glassed off areas, and more lame recordings to describe locations rather than costumed enactors.

being a history buff myself, and wanting to come up with fun stuff to do in Michigan, i visited Greenfield Village, it's definitely not worth the 24 $ entrance fee and the extra 14 $ all ride pass, yeah there are some historic houses and they have been preserved and renovated, but honestly it gets redundant and boring easily. It's... More

It's always neat to be able to walk around, and see what life might have been like. The holiday nights, and haunted weekends are a must for family tradition. And the fireworks are great in the summer.

There is nothing I could say about it that is negative. It was a great history lesson that was a blast from the past. All the employees were so polite and informative, they made it all come alive. There is a lot of walking so put on your good shoes

This is a great place to take the family - or for just adults! There is so much to see here. They did an amazing job on this place - and all the buildings are just like they were (and in fact I believe they moved them there!). We had a great time while we were there - and the... More

What can I say that others haven't already said? My family and I adored Greenfield Village. The employees are so well informed and friendly, and we loved watching the tinsmith, glass blower, and potters. And riding in the Model T's was a blast. We can't wait to go back and HIGHLY recommend it!

Greenfield Village is a masterpiece, there’s no other way to put it. Prior to visiting, a friend of mine was trying to explain to me what the village looks like, and he certainly did a good job in describing it, but I really have to tell you that when I visited, I often stopped and asked myself what could have... In two sentences -- Greenfield Village is a world-class attraction that re-animates U.S. history by presenting historic homes and businesses (moved from their original locations), modes of transportation, period clothing, handcrafts, activities, food, and drink. Enormous family fun, but it can be crowded and can involve lots of walking.
