Love the aviary and the Japanese garden - it gives you some elbow room, the path around the lake is a nice walk.

The flowers were beautiful. We had a nice ride on the tram & the guide was very interesting & knowledgeable. Had to drag my husband out of the Tower House, he was have a very in depth conversation with the docent!! Loved the whole experience. Can't wait to go back
We had some extra time to waste so we thought we would check out the Missouri Botanical Gardens. The tram was running and what a great way to see everything! My husband wasn't sure he would enjoy it but he really did! The tulips were in bloom and were beautiful and there was also a very nice gift shop. So...

My husband and I checked out the Botanical Gardens on our last day in St. Louis. The gardens are beyond description - SO beautiful, well cared-for, colorful, educational, and original. I live in Chicago and have visited the Chicago botanical gardens before, which are also fantastic, but I actually think the Missouri Botanical Garden's might surpass Chicago's. There is a...

There was nothing I disliked about the Botanical Garden. Wonderful and distinct garden areas with lots of meandering paths for quiet walks. We went when the irises were in bloom and the display was spectacular.
weren't planning on visiting the garden, but just happened upon it and so glad we went. the grounds were beautiful, most of the flowers were in bloom and it was easy to get around- only negative is that there is so much to see I didn't have enough time for it all. MUST SEE!!!
Friends who live in St Louis took us here and it was wonderful. We had lunch in the restaurant and it was quite good and reasonably priced. We did not have time to see all of the gardens but the ones we did see, irises, roses, herbs and the tropical garden enclosure, were wonderful. The labeling of the plants and...

Walk, escape the city hustle. Enjoy the ethnic cultural shows and the grounds are so so lovely. Don't forget to go in the fall and buy some exotic bulbs

One of our favorites is the Japanese Garden, a very relaxing area with a large lake. The Chinese Culture Days were a nice touch to it, but I expected to...

Time magazine once ran a cover story about the Missouri Botanical Garden, which says it all! Widely considered the best botanical garden in the country, we saw the Chinese Lantern festival in 2012 and loved it! The Japanese Gardens are a highlight of the park, as also the Climatron. Go with a lot of stamina and time to spare if...
