Unfortunately the production line was not operating during our visit, but the quality of the chocolate was fantastic, so much so, that we spent $300 on gifts for bringing home. There was no problem in tasting any one you wanted to. My wife went around the cactus garden an enjoyed it very much.

We went to ETHEL EMS CANDY FACTORY and discovered it is owned by MARS who also has M&Ms, The factory tour is very nice and shows every step in producing their very fine chocolate while they are actually making the product. . A VERY small sample is offered at the end of the tour. Very Modern and CLEAN place with... More

Although the chocolate was good, production was down. I was disappointed because that's what brought me to the factory. There was a video but you couldn't hear it. The cactus garden was nice but some could use some TLC

Well worth a trip to walk around in the cactus garden. Unbelievable display of cactus and dessert plants. It's free as well as the chocolate factory. Mars candy founder opened this elite chocolate factory here in 1981. It's a free tour for both the factory and garden. The chocolate if you want to purchase is quite expensive but delicious.

It was only about 50 feet long, walking in a hallway overlooking the production line. Nice free sample, yummy. Great cactus garden outside the chocolate factory to stroll through. Nice gift shop.

This was a stop after i did the Hoover Dam tour, and spent about 30 minutes visiting the grounds. I was greeted by a nice lady, who gave me some chocolates to taste. This was the same company, that has the M&M store on the strip. I was in their store on the strip the day before, so I didn't... More

I would have given 5 stars but the factory was closed on a wekend and we didn't see actual production. The samples were wonderful. The staff is great and informative. The cactus garden is a wonder place to relax and enjoy the fabulous ice cream sold at the factory store.

Only went here because it was close to the Las Vegas Distillery that we had toured earlier. Do not waste the trip or time. You walk down a windowed hallway to view the workshop that was not working while we were there. Did not see any chocolate being made. You are then routed in to their gift shop where they... More
