What's not to like about the Fremont Experience...live bands, slushie drinks, free beads and during the weekdays street acts! I also ate at the Paradise Buffet the food was great! On Fridays there is all you can eat crab for $19.99!

Pretty much any night of the week, it's an outdoor party downtown. A couple of bands playing, partying in the streets. Characters dressed up as celebrities, crazy locals, it's a scene. Plus, some of the gambling is cheaper. You can't miss the light show on the canopy overhead, awesome. Don't come to Vegas and not get downtown to see this.
I love all the tv shows that show "old Las Vegas" so was very excited to see Fremont Street. I really thought there would be more to do there. I did enjoy the old casinos and hotels. Entertainment was just ok, though lots of energy. The light show was less than exciting. Worth seeing once by probably not again.
My husband and I used to stay at some of the hotels on Freemont Street (Golden Nugget, Plaza) over 10 years ago. We went this week to see how it had changed. To be frank, it was awful. Fremont street shows a different side to Vegas from the manufactured concrete jungles of the strip. We went early evening and spent a couple of hours looking through discount souvenir shops and listening to the street bands playing. Amazing to see all the neon of the old town casinos. The big horseshoe and the cowboy. Wow! Fitzgeralds was packed and we played a few machines there. But, the light show in the canopy above the street was amazing. There as also a concert going on right downtown in the street. So much fun and lots to see and...

The entire Fremont Street Experience is fantastic! Even on a weekend it was fun, safe and clean. Great music all over the place, cheap food and drinks and tons of sightseeing with the wild variety of people. Lots of security guards and police so you never feel uneasy about anything. The light show is just amazing. I will never stay...

This street has everything, we had so much fun while we were there and we only budgeted three hours to go but ended up spending almost 7 hours there. Make sure that you have the time and definitely go at night. It was crazy awesome down there.
