Nice place to see how people lived way back then. Good old fashion furniture and details. There even is suppose to be ghosts, but I did not see any this time around.

This house tour was a wonderful history lesson on the creation of historic Cape May, our tour guide was very knowledgable and answered all of our questions. You can't take photographs or touch anything so don't bring small children. The price is fairly high for only a 45 minute tour($15) but it is something nice to do on a rainy...

My husband and I toured the Physick Estate as part of a trolley tour package. The house is a very good example of the restoration and preservation efforts being made by this historic society and others. We were most interested in the architecture and the eclectic decor. We took the standard Estate tour, but we'd like to return for the...

We bought tickets for this interactive Clue-like event at 6:30 on a Saturday night. The man at the kiosk assured me it was great fun and you got to solve a murder mystery. Tickets were $15 each for 45 minutes. I don't want to go on and on....but this was awful. Just awful. To echo what someone else said the...

This is a great tour. Our tour guide, Carol, was the best tour guide ever! The Physick Estate and the adjoining Carriage House and Tea Room are must sees when you come to Cape May!
The house has been very well restored and we enjoyed our tour around it.I especially loved the fireplaces and the wallpapers, very William Morris in style.
The tour of the Physick Estate, a very masculine-looking Victorian home, is worth the time. Our docent was excellent, and seemed very knowledgeable of details of both Dr. Physick and the home itself. The information we had stated that tours began at 11. We arrived early, but enjoyed walking the grounds around the house and sitting in the lovely gazebo....

Great tour for a lover of old houses...The wallpaper was amazing! They are still in the process of restoring the property and the project should be supported byeveryone that visits Cape May. Highly recommended!
The guide focused more on owner history but also had some interesting information on Victorian life-styles, design characteristics of the architect, and the way things worked.
This house is well worth taking the time to visit. We went on a combination trolley ride and house tour, which made it very convenient. You can tour the house and spend extra time at the Carriage House where there are historical displays, a gift shop, and a lovely cafe, and then take a later trolley back to town. Their...
