Since I am a person with a strong interest in natural phenomena, I found it fascinating, especially since there are very few places in the world where this combination of biology and geology can be viewed so clearly. A gorgeous place right inside the city of Saratoga Springs. The fossil reef was at the oceans edge 500 million years ago. There's a glacial (?) standing stone with a notch where the sun rises at dawn on the solstice. Highly recommended! more
