Love the views on this hike. Close to town. A must see and a great intro to the area if you're visiting for the first time.
When starting the trail, stay to the left. Be sure to complete the full loop rather than turning around and going back after reaching the first viewing area. Like this hike because it is a loop and not too difficult. Wonderful views!!! Worth the effort. If you start off to the right, more difficult than starting off going left.
My husband & I disagreed about the best strategy to climb the mountain. Since he is not in as good shape as I am, it was much more difficult for him than for me. Still, the view was awesome! Nice trails, but not an easy hike for those who don't do it often.
Amazing Hike. A little strenuous but not a bad hike and the pay off is a spectacular view. If you are up to it then continue on past the open viewing area. You will have several views right next to the sheer cliff. Please watch dogs and little ones. The Cliff is 800 feet down.

Easy hike and nice place to spend an hour or two. Views are great and vary from every overlook. Self-serve parking fee of $2 per vehicle (make sure you have exact change).
