One of the best four courses in Newfoundland. The others are Humber Valley, Terra Nova (Twin Rivers) and Clovelly (The Osprey)

The course is in fantastic shape; it appears the Wilds gets something we are lacking in St. John’s…sunshine. It has been foggy and cool in St. John’s all week (OK, most of June), so my buddy and I took a run to the Wilds yesterday for a round. Well, what a difference in weather! It was 10 degrees and foggy... More

Decided to stay & play at last minute when dropping my son off to the NLGA weekend junior golf clinic, and was offered a great package, including upgrade to "queen suite". Rooms in main lodge are basic, but clean & comfortable and new villas look gorgeous. Staff go overboard to accomodate and impress. Course is in good shape & enjoyable,... More

This was the first time I've stayed at the Wilds in about 10 years. While it does still have a lot of charm it could use a face lift. It is a wood construction and is showing its age with creaky floors. The mattress in the room I stayed in is past its best before date but the bed was... More

Every year we put Hundreds of thousands back into the resort in upkeep & renovations. We just put in 15 new 4 star villa's that are 100% soundproof &... More

Bring your driver, its a long one, course management is the name of the game here. Beautiful course getting nicer every year as it matures. Keep an eye out for the wildlife not uncommon to see moose, fox, owls etc. I love this course.
