Lots of hands on experiences for all ages. A plannetariean show. Have classes for children during the summer. Change items of interest 4 or 5 times a year. Usually open during red, White and boom and othr downtown festivals. It is worth the cost for the experiendes you'll have with your family. Also have a snack bar downstairs and a... More

We went to see Body Worlds, but had plenty of time to explore the entire museum. This would be a great place to take preteen children. There are plenty of hands on exhibits. We had fun just sitting and watching the children have fun learning.

My grandkids thought they were in DisneyWorld for a day, and they were learning basic science while having fun. My only quibble was the cafeteria. We paid for and discarded larger drinks than we wanted. Perhaps the science of ecology could be better utilized in food services. Otherwise, you are good for the day with the 10-and-under set at COSI.

Even as our kids are getting older (7 &10), COSI does not disappoint. There's something to do and learn for kids of all ages. We'll definately keep coming back.

COSI was named the #1 science center in the US in Parent magazine in 2012 for really good reasons. It's a superb opportunity for kids, really of all ages, to touch, smell, feel, see, hear science all around them. The exhibits are airy and hands-on, interactive and the extreme screen is one of the best.

We enjoyed spending some time at the exhibits at COSI. The water area was one of our favorite parts but if you get wet go to the restroom they have these high speed dryers to dry you off. We enjoyed watching people go out on the unicycle even though some little ones froze once the were out they came with... More

I had been to COSI as a kid and love-love-loved it. I had so many grand memories of all the exhibits. I'm 22 now and went last year and I felt that the trip was just okay. However, I definitely recommend this to parents with children 12 and under. They have an Ocean area, where it's gorgeous scenery and hands... More

Attended on the last Friday of spring break with my wife, eleven-year-old, and twelve-year-old. COSI had a wide variety of exhibits for many ages and interests. Almost everything is designed to be touched, played with, or otherwise interacted with. Some of the exhibits were a bit tired and aging, but most were fun and kept up to date. The Mindbender... More

My family and I just visited here over spring break. The kids had a great time. The only problem were the crowds. I would not reccomend going here during a busy time. It was very hard to get to certain exhibits or look at things due to the enormus amounts of people. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful.... More
