The mansion is lovely with a very interesting history and great antiques inside. The volunteers are knowledgeable and provided lots of insight as to the contents of the home and history of the family, really enriching the experience. A great place to visit any time of year. At Christmas, there is always a special display with a theme. For example, Christmas around the World with different countries in each room. Other times there are special displays such as antique beaded bags. And the gift shop has lots of wonderful items including beautiful jewelry.

Pittock Mansion is open all year, but if you want to see this lovely house beautifully decorated wait until Christmas! It's surrounded by lovely walking trails and beautiful views, so plan to stay for a couple of hours to enjoy the area around it.

Spectacular views of Portland. A lot of interesting history about how this family lived 100+ years ago. The grounds were beautiful.

The Pittock Mansion is a wonderful presentation of life in early Portland. The architecture is beautiful, the views spectacular. It is easy to daydream about what it would have been like to live here.
