A relatively small garden with great variety of wonderful specimens. Take your camera, especially if the flowers are in bloom. We were very lucky. It is very peaceful and quiet, so you can enjoy the garden and the fish and waterfowl even if there are few or no blossoms.

The flowers at the end of April were spectacular! Most people are there just to appreciate some quiet beauty. There were a few families with strollers but it isn't really a place for young children as there is not enough activity. Teens may also find it boring.

You just can't beat Portland Parks and this is another winner. Beautiful rhododendron and azalea plants in full bloom right now. Free admission mid-week or before 10am. Free parking. Wonderful scenery. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been.

Visited in early May. Not everything was in bloom, but it was still beautiful. So many different varieties and colors.
