A scenic roadway with the Columbia River on one side and the waterfalls on the other. At the least, stop at Multnomah Falls and hike up to the ridge.
Just a wonderful site with lots to see and do! The wind surfers add lots of color to an already beautiful site!
The historic highway takes you to a number waterfalls and other points of interest along the beautiful Columbia River.
Scenic highway extraordinaire with lovely views in every direction. Only thing I didn't like were the power lines along the railroad tracks.

A great place to hike and enjoy the great outdoors. Close in and you don't have to travel far. Shows off all the beautiful trees and nature. There are many waterfalls to view.

You can Google the address and it is not out of the way) you see several beautiful waterfalls along the way. We did not do any hiking but several can be viewed from the road... More
Drive here fairly often. Once you are in the scenica area all is pristene. No signs, commercial establishments. Rugged beauty thanks to the violent Missoula floods of thousands of years ago. Mountains and Columbia River are spectacular.
