Amazing Italian water gardens, conservatory, sculpture gardens, water lillies....I could go on! It is a must see if you are in the area. Check the website for potential discounts such as student, etc. Wear your sturdy walking shoes and enjoy!

Located at Longwood Gardens Rt 1, Kennett Sq. just northwest of Wilmington, DE. They are open from 9 AM until 6 PM and there is a fee. We spent the most of a morning enjoying the amazing water fountains and falls, but what we liked most was the Conservatory and Sculpture Gardens. We were not disappointed.

A superb location for a wide variety of flowers including orchids and waterlilies (in season). We spent five hours here and only saw about two thirds or three quarters of it all. Got some great photographs! The grounds are very extensive and well kept. The orchid display had the most variety I've ever seen anywhere. Wear good walking shoes. The cafeteria was quite pricey though.

Wow! Longwood Gardens were absolutely beautiful! You need to spend the entire day taking in the beauty here. The azaleas were on the way out, but the dogwoods were in full bloom along with almost all the other bushes and flowers. If you are in the Northeast, you have to go to Longwood Gardens.

This lovely property was originally owned by William Penn. The gardens change according to season and are exquisite. To photograph the colors and textures and varieties I fully drained my camera battery! Arrive early to avoid the crowds.
