Wandered through the campus and it is just beautiful! Took some visitors pamphlets with me for my children to peruse since they are very close to having to think about colleges.
The stadium itself is amazing especially if you watch college football or are just a sports fan period. Outside the stadium there are train tracks with a non functioning train called the cock boose. This university has one of the most beautiful campuses I've seen. It is historical and well kept and the Horseshoe is the loveliest walk! Everyone who visits Columbia should visit this campus.
It is a good place to visit, don't forget to visit pandini pizza, yogurt shop, gourmet coffee upstairs...hazelnut flavor, and marble slab ice cream.....still got room, binge on pizza hut hot cinnamon sticks.....yum yum..
I have visited USC three times now from Scotland in pursuit of my hobby interest, the Thomas Cooper Library and Irvin Special Collection hold the Roy Collection and this is the best in the world for my interest. I can't wait until I return. Campus facilities are great, and the historical buildings worth a closer look.
This University has southern charm and is steeped in tradition. I love walking around the beautifully maintained grounds in the evening when the sun is setting and it is not so hot. The bookstore is a great place to get Gamecock shirts and hats and just about anything you desire to promote the USC teams
