Huge golden sandy beach that goes on for miles (or so it seems!) there is room for everyone to spread out and enjoy.

Great clean beach, great for surfing and body boarding. We walk from the Twitchen house holiday park to avoid parking costs. Good facilities available shops, toilets, cafe and surfboard hire.

What a terrific beach, very clean with plenty of local amenities, well worth a Blue Flag rating. We saw so many Lifeguards on there I think they must have been on a training exercise, but nevertheless very reassuring to know that they were on call.

We enjoyed walking Alfie on Woolacombe beach - miles of golden sands, mostly dog friendly. We walked to the beach from Twitchen house, lovely walk, and had lunch at a lovely dog friendly pub on the sea front, The Red Barn.

Thank you for your kind review. We are a family owned company and try hard to cater for family needs. We 'zoned' the beach several years ago and you will find a 'dog free' zone, a dogs on leads one and the area that you were presumably on where dogs are allowed off leads. I glad it was to your... The beach is a very long beautiful sandy beach with plenty of personal space for everyone. The sand dunes are great for exploring & seeing wildlife. Best view of sunset is from the upper car park,Marine drive. If your into bird watching then park at Marine drive car park. Brilliant rock pools for adult's & kid's,but watch out, some rock... More

Luckily we had gorgeous weather the whole week we stayed in Woolacombe. The beach is one of the best in Devon.

Stunning beach. I went swimming even in October ;) Long, straight perfect beach. It almost looks man made!

Thank you for such a positive review. I can assure you it is not man-made, but it is managed by a woman! ;>) More

This beach is outstanding. You have three sections. To the right of the small river is an area exclusive of use for people without dogs. To the left is dogs on leads followed by further along the beach past the rocks is an area for dogs off leads. There is catering on the beach and also shops nearby. RNLI are... More
