Over three floors, the converted mill houses the bookshop, contemporary art gallery and cafe in a unique environment, complete with comfy chairs - a browser's paradise. Next door is our homes and gardens shop, Homer. We are open seven days a week, 10am - 5pm (11am on Sunday). « less

On coming to Aberfeldy we had expected something special from the watermill given what it's publicity machine tells us. However what we found was a bookshop which whilst charging premium prices was poorly laid out with inattentive staff and given it's aspirations not a great many books. As book lovers my wife and I found this to be an exquisite experience. While it may not have the same selection as one of your high street bookstore chains it has an ambience that high street stores can only wish for. The stream running past the car park, the smell & taste of excellent coffee. Great background music. Excellent book selection and a superb cosy, historic atmosphere. And then the top floor with a really different selection of art. Just off the high street in this lovely market town surrounded by woods and mountains more
